
The Cor Unum Meal Center is a not-for-profit meal center located in South Lawrence. Cor Unum provides free, nutritious meals in a safe environment to families with children, the working poor, the homeless, and the lonely – anyone who is in need of food, regardless of race, color, creed, sex, or way of life.
Cor Unum addresses the vast unmet needs of the hungry in Lawrence. The center is a 5,600 square foot building constructed on a 27,359 square foot lot on Carver Street in Lawrence. The land, owned by St. Patrick Parish, was previously used as an overflow parking lot.
The Cor Unum Meal Center feeds hundreds of people at every meal. The center has a small core staff and relies upon a large volunteer base for the provision of all of its services
