A Typical Meal at The Cor Unum Meal Center |
"Whatever you did for one of these least brothers
of mine, you did for me."
(Matthew 25:40)
A remarkable number of people are living out
this Gospel Message from Matthew 25:40 at the Cor Unum Meal Center. Thank
you to all of the volunteers for sharing your time and talent to help feed
our many guests. We appreciate all of the donations of food and financial
support from individuals and businesses that enable us to provide good
healthy meals for our guests. A special thank you to Piro’s Bakery, Donna
Fortier Landscaping, Dunkin Donuts, Mann’s Orchards, Assist Incorporated,
BJ’s Wholesale, Butcher Boy, and Labels Are For Jars for helping to make
the holidays special for our guests at Cor Unum.
During the winter, more and more people have to choose between paying
their rent, heating bills, and food. Along with the growing need to feed
more guests is an increase in the necessity for additional volunteer
assistance, especially in the mornings and weekend evenings. Please
prayerfully consider volunteering your time and talent at Cor Unum. There
are many opportunities and time commitments are flexible. If you would like to learn about volunteering at Cor Unum, call
978-688-8900, or visit our volunteering page.
All volunteers are asked to participate in a
volunteer orientation. If you have already attended an orientation and
would like to schedule a day/time to volunteer, please contact us at
978-688-8900.
